kalamaWEATHER.com's local weather information is obtained from a
Davis Vantage Pro2 wireless weather station.
The sensor suite measures rain, temperature, humidity, and wind. I use the USB version of Davis' WeatherLink software to monitor the sensor suite.
The weather camera is an old RCA camcorder (thank's DJM) that can no longer record. VisionGS is used to process the picture and superimpose the weather data. The weather information and weather
cam image are uploaded once a minute using a cool little ftp program called Fling. Then, once an hour, the weather cam images are processed into a movie using VisionGS.
Scripts for the Buoys Mesomap, NOAA Climate Reports, NOAA Advisory/Warning, Earthquakes, and WeatherLink PHP tags were written by Ken True at saratoga-weather.org.
The Forecast and Radar scripts are powered by www.hamweather.com.
